What sort of size and what’s it for Brian?

I use tessa tapes for most of my run of the mill double sided tape requirements. If it’s proper VHB you are looking for then sit down before you ask for the price lol.

Ally panels I rivet as well but not so easy with composite as you weaken the board where the rivets go.

You could give Viking tapes a go I see them at the sign show and they do some excellent products and there is no min order

If you aren’t using rivet’s don’t use anything but the correct VHB tape.

    e.g.
bare alloy metal sheet to bare metal channel is not always the same tape as bare metal channel to the likes of coated dibond.

supplier to supplier have different variations in what their VHB does. most come with Cross reference charts to tell you what VHB tape to use on whatever substrate.

Good VHB tapes arent cheap, but they do the job. many imitation’s do not or are sold without correct advice.
applying VHB tape must be followed exactly by the book or look to see you sign needing replaced in a matter of weeks. less in high winds. god forbid it hits someone!

we use rivets + VHB on dibond and the like. belt and braces. just 4 inch strips with each rivet. it prevents the rivet head being tore thru the composite panel in high winds and exposed areas.

when buying, dont just look at like for like on product code.
thickness of the tape, width of the tape and metres per roll vary.
rolls of VHB are normally around 33mtres long. keep in mind when comparing prices too as many others sell 10m and 25 metre rolls.
so might be exactly same, just less on the roll.

Try number 7 – F on the sign toolbar.
lots of options… indasol are a good start.
