    Hi,

I have been asked create and apply vinyl graphics to a coach. the vinyl is to be dark purple and will be 35cm tall x 3-4metres long depending on font used (yet to be decided).

I have applied a few large graphics like this before with no real problems however the coach in question is corrugated where the vinyl is to be applied.

I am not 100% sure what kind of vinyl would be the best for this and what the best method would be to apply the graphics, does anyone have any tips please?

Also as this is one of the first large jobs we have had i’m not 100% sure how my quote compared. Could anyone give me (to the nearest £50) an idea of how much they would have quoted for this job? The requirement are:

2 x wording in purple vinyl 4metres long x 35cm tall to be applied to corrugated panelling on sides of coach

1 x wording in white vinyl 1.9metres long x 30cm tall to be applied to the top windscreen (external)

    Thanks,

    Gareth

Thanks Neil. I’m not a million miles out with my quote then 😀

It would just be lettering on the coach, no piccies.

With corrugated surfaces the height measurement with a tape measure will be false as it doesn’t go into the valleys……….. trick I learned was to vertically apply a piece of masking tape to the surface, mark the bottom and top of the tape where the lettering is planned then remove the tape and measure between the marks. This will be the necessary hieght of your lettering.
