  • Advice producing fleet graphics

We’ve produced fleet graphics before, but more straight forward that this job. Simple stuff, I know we need X number of logos, and X number of phone numbers etc.

Got a fleet now, 17 vans, split between 3 models. (11, 4, 2), further complicated because the designs split too. Same design, just the colours are reversed.

We’ve cut the first set for the first van, once we’re sure it all fits correctly, we can crack on and produce the remaining sets… with the day to day interruptions, I can see it going belly up along the way.

It’s all produced using cut vinyl, any tips of the best way to keep track of how many pieces of each colour/shape we need, and how many we’ve cut?

Would writing numbers & letters on top of the app tape not help?

Some aren’t taped up as it’s a partial wrap.

I’ve written on them where they’re for with a water based pen, saves time when fitting. I tend to box all the vinyl into kits for each vehicle.

I may make a spreadsheet with the number of parts we need, and keep a tally chart.
