  • Advice on Joining 2 Banners together

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of joining 2 banners together to produce a seamless join.

I am producing banners for this client and they want me to produce some much larger ones as well and I can’t print wide enough. I know I could sub it out but need to keep control of the job in-house and if there is anyway of joining the banners together that would be great.

The banner images are high quality photo,s so join needs to be good.

    Thanks
    Colin

    Hi Neil,

Yes I think your right, the more I think about it the more stupid the question sounds. I think I was hoping for a bit of a miracle cure.

    Sorry guys!!

A seamless join no, but a join in a banner yes. We did two banners both in two 1,3 sections at over 10m long and joined em in the middle, they looked and hung well. They were wrapped around a shop so were in close proximity to the eye but you could hardly see the join, we were very pleased with the result.

Banner tape and a heat gun, although don’t overdo the heat.

    Good luck
