  Advice on Acrylic signs please?

  Hi folks,

  First one of these working alone. Customer has had the signs in the photo for 20 years. Going to freshen it up a little. It’s a 5mm acrylic with 5mm foamex attached (hidden by frame which is still up). Any problems I should be aware off?

  The sheets seem to be cut into a lot of panels (just over 4m in length, 1m to each panel) would I get away with one join?

  Also seems to have Routed each edge of the joins to create a over lap. Like two L’s fitting together. Is this the best way to do this? Would a wee bit of tape in the router section be a good idea or over kill as the frame will hold it together?
