  • Advice needed on the mounters mate laminator.

Posted by Chris Wilson on March 1, 2017 at 9:43 pm

    Hi folks,

Currently looking for a laminator. Been looking around. I am now humming an hawing.

I have been offered one of the mounters mate machines.
It’s seems to tick all the boxes. Bit wider than we need at the moment, but always one to look at the future. Heated top roller. Not to fussed at speed, longs it does the job right. Omar has been helpful on the phone etc..

But it’s a little more than I wanted to spend.

Has anyone seen one of these at trades shows/or has one that could give me some further pros for the machine, or any cons?

    Cheers
    Chris

These are great laminators and so easy to operate.
We have been laminating prints for around 15 years now and bought one of these as a second laminator. it is now used more than the other due to how simple it is to setup and track roll-to-roll 50 metres.

forget the extra width being in question, you will be glad of the extra width from time to time.
also, i know lots of sign companies using their laminator to flood mount sheet material like composite board with prints or solid colour. having the extra width will help you no end here too!

Omar came up to our place and did the install and training himself. very nice guy and knows his stuff!
Omar owns mounters mate, so its good that he is the one out showing folk how to use his equipment.

    $this->BBvideo_pass(‘$8’, ‘$4’, ‘$7’)

We bought ours in September and agree with everything Rob says. Omar came to us for delivery/training too. Very helpful.

I don’t think you would be disappointed.

    Hi Gary/rob

    Cheers for the replies.
Think we will be going with one of these then which I was leaning towards anyway.
