    hi folks looking for help with this if possible .Customerhas illuminated sign that sits above or is in fact part of the fridge that he wants me to re letter with his name etc .just clear acrylic that has been sprayed white on the back (lorry headboard stuff really ) .Question is there an easy way to remove the paint without damage to the glass or am just aswell to bin it and replace with new piece . I thought of cellulose thinner but itll probably melt it

    No easy way Brian,

    can use fine abrasive to remove then polish the hell out of it later….

    much simpler to get a new piece of clear acrylic or even polycarbonate as it’s much more flexible (and cheaper).

    Test a small corner first, if it is perspex thinners won’t melt it. If it is polycarb you have a problem. If it is illuminated spraying will not work unless you are an expert with a spraygun as you will not get an even enough coverage. The original was probably screen printed.

    Mike ill give it a bash as it will jist be lettering that will be white most of it will be black
