    You can use a jig saw with a fine blade.

    If hand tools are your preferred method I’d say manual hand saws & acrylics don’t really mix too well..and/or take FOREVER.

    A jig or a scroll saw with a fine blade is ‘OK’. An electric fret saw is better – but they are pretty small and not suitable for anything big.

    Splash the cash & spend £30-£40 on a cheap plunge router & some bits… that way you won’t have to spend ages sanding it smooth either.
