ACM – trimming off cuts down to A3 & A4 panels

    Hi All,

Hope everyone is ok and keeping safe?!

We have built up a large amount of ACM off cuts. So, we are going to cut a lot of them down to A3 and A4 panels (a pretty common size). However, I’d like to set up a router jig to do so as our saw has seen better days and isn’t great at keeping square and I really don’t fancy cutting them all by hand.

Does anyone have any details of making a simple jig that will take various sizes of panels please?

    Thank you.

Do you mean a handheld router or CNC?

I could be doing with something to easily cut composite.
I don’t like the Stanley blade cutters. and not a big fan of power tools like bench saws and that kind of thing. however, if there was something, as you say, with a setup to easily cut things I would be interested to.

i saw the Stanley cutters at the sign show. work great but hard going if longer than 2-3ft and i imagine you would go through lots of Stanley blades.
