When using registration marks on the Graphtec 5000-60 what is the minimum distance the registration marks must be from the edge of the paper, on the side, front and back edges? Having a few problems with a4 size paper

Jason, sorry can’t help with your question but I do remember reading something recently that said that A4 could be a real problem to set up and it was better to use A3.

have a look in the manual for exact distance but use mode 2 marks 25mm in on sides
    25 mm ft edge
    55mm rear edge.
don’t leave a lot of area left.
the type 2 marks can be drawn as a oblong with a .5mm line width. not the 4 marks as shown.
to speed up lots of the same cuts the arms can be told the distance apart the marks are, and it will go to them at speed not slowly looking for them.

To reduce the wasted area around the design you could also draw a rectangle around the design and then get cutting master to convert that to reg marks. I couldn’t get type 2 to be recognised so i had to use type 1 (even with the mode switched on the plotter)!
Normally you should allow 25mm ish to the edge of the paper as well.
