I hope this post is taken in the spirit that it was intended and I don’t want to put the cat among the pigeons but I thought there may be some people on the forum who might like to know that Dewi and Cal are getting married today and I wish them all the luck in the world.

Congrats to both again …. Ive already told them that though but hey no harm in saying it again !! 😀 We just have to wait for the piccie now … I like to see piccies!! 😉 :lol1: 😀 We cant make the party same as others here cant but I am sure they will have a great day!!
Im pretty sure the majority of members here who remember/know Dewi are still in touch with him and are up to date on everything anyway, he has a phone attached to his ear permanently remember or his fingers on the keyboard!! My ears have never been the same you know :lol1:
Im not sure why anyone would think that mentioning it would put any cat amongst any pigeons here? At the end of the day if members choose to leave or want to be unregistered and feel they are happier elsewhere then fair enough. We are all also very well aware that not everyone can get on with everyone …. thats just life … its how you chose to deal with it though … whether you have to make constant digs about old news or just get on with stuff. I dont think he gets mentioned that much here anymore just because he’s not here … out of sight out of mind I suppose … it would be the same if I or anyone else left tomorrow … hopefully some of you might miss me for a bit (I hope) but with new news and life moving on you would obviously not feel the need to talk about me everyday?
Anyway Im babbling on a bit now … its just that I dont understand the whole issue that has arose when in reality theres not really an “issue”. I dont think anyone here has a problem, its just a shame that it seems to be rumoured or portrayed that we all do and almost have to feel that we have to select a side? I come here because I like it here, I like the members … you are all fab, I have a good laugh, I get pi$$ed off sometimes too but crikey dont we all. Ive got to know some really great people through here, the information everyone is willing to share is great, so overall Im a happy happy bunny 😀

Just trying to cover myself and to let people know that there was no ulterior motive for the post I made. I have had my knuckles wrapped in the past for mentioning the name of a past member and I was just trying not to let it happen again

I would agree with your points Carrie, and I stay in touch with Dewi, but find ‘the’ situation a bit strange. I visit two other sign sites, but I live here.

In regards to other sites, I am staying here too. Simply put, I find this community is the best on the net by a country mile. I almost live here, I don’t always agree with what is said, but I respect everyone for their views, and hopefully people respect me for mine.

Shane totally agree about this community, feels like family or better still good freinds, and I respect you and your veiws. Do you not have any places like this in australia? I all ready said all the best to Bill and Cal seems redundant as they won’t see it but I’m sure they will know :lol1:

Thanks Lynn, local sign forums in OZ are rare, as we don’t seem to have the same helpful attitiude that you have here.
We have a ‘client only site’ for Australian Graphic Supplies. the local Oracal distributor here in Qld & NSW, which may spread to other states as time goes on, but on a whole, few aussie sign co’s are as helpful to each other as you experience on UKSB’s.
There are a fair few aussies members here on UKSB’s, but only a small number contribute, which is a shame as we have some very talented sign people here too.
Perhaps they may get more involved next year 😉

Its open to any registered user to view … not just members, this thread was in general discussion but as you requested to add pics it was moved to this forum so as pics can be added … general discussion doesnt have an upload feature … hence the move to here at your request.

I thought you were referring to “members” as in “gold/uksg members” not just registered users/members …. registered users are members yes … but you only have to be a registered/logged in member not a gold or uksg member to view here.
