A question Re. Peters Bike thread…..
Posted by Glenn Sharp on May 23, 2009 at 9:22 pmI’m just interested to know what technique anybody who has put forward a suggestion has used
I’m pretty clueless in Photoshop so I had to work between photoshop and Corel to get it to work for me
How is this done purely in Photoshop?

Ain’t got a clue Glenn 😀
Never really got into photoshop, have the odd dable occasionally. I’m to old to learn it now. 🙁 my son was teaching himself with online tutorials.
It’s Corel for me.

Probably 100 better ways to do it but this is how i go about it:
1 – open Peters original bike picture which will become the background
2 – open 2nd picture (compass) as another background >use the restore down tab so you can see both images > then drag & drop the 2nd image onto the bike, this will now make your 2nd image layer 1
3 – making sure layer 1 is selected re-size to suit> then erase any overlaping areas which are not wanted> after this I just adjusted the opacity to what I thought worked.
4 – repeated steps 2 & 3 with the mountains which then became layer 2I’m crap at explaining things so hope this kinda makes sense 😕
