Tasmanian company, Creative Paper, has devised a manufacturing process that could see the demise of international paper mills overnight. Well maybe not overnight, but when you consider that the manufacturing process does not require complex and expensive plant and machinery, nor does it flatten forests for raw materials and is also recyclable, then you have to believe that there is much angst in the boardrooms of the big mills.

So what is the magic ingredient that forms the raw material for this revolutionary paper?

What is it that has the likes of APM panicking about it’s share price?

Roo Poo. Yes, that’s right, the recycled grass that our beloved native marsupial the kangaroo ingests.

A spokesman for Creative Paper said the company has developed the novel Aussie paper for sale to the tourist market in Tasmania and had already taken many enquiries from interested resellers and expect international interest as word gets around.

The company says the product will be perfect for gift wrapping, writing paper and greeting cards, but says it has no plans for using it in the manufacture of tissue paper in the foreseeable future.
