A key role in a fast growing sign co. Chorley, Lancs
Hi All
We are looking for an excellent all rounder to work at our Chorley office.
The role is best described as predominately office based Internal Sales; liaising with our non-trade / non-project customers and their enquiries, estimating and quotes, owning the enquiry to installation process for allocated jobs – scheduling with the design studio and production. This will require knowledge of popular sign types / systems and what goes into a finished sign by way of materials and labour.
We have a policy of cross training and flexibility, i.e., there will be a need and opportunity to get involved in the factory when the big job breaks out or to allow contingency. Hands on experience in any area of sign manufacture / vinyl application would be helpful but training can be given. Knowledge or experience in operating plotters / digital printers would be helpful but again training can be given
The candidate must be MS Office literate and knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop or FlexiSign would be helpful.
We operate a flat structure – everyone is equal on one team. This is different from working for many other companies. Everyone here thinks it’s the best place they have worked for bar none -BUT there is nowhere to hide and we all work very hard to ensure our customers are happy. This can mean working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
As shown by this brief description, and notwithstanding the primary internal sales role title, we are looking for someone with a very wide range of skills and exposure to everything about signs, hence the ideal candidate might have run their own small to medium sign company, or have held a pivotal role in a busy sign company. There will be opportunity to progress further as we continue to grow. We will offer a competitive salary according to experience.
