a HUGE thank you
I just would like to take a few mins of my time to say thank you to everyone who has helped me since joining the boards.
I have a lot more knowledge than a yr ago but that new knowledge has tought me that there is so much I don’t know. I now enjoy learning new stuff.
I have a lot more confidence now in this business and around 90% of my learned knowledge has come from the boards here.
I haven’t had the chance to meet anyone from the boards except Nicola, and look forward to meeting some of you in the future. I made so many mistakes when I started out and all mistakes I see as a positive learning process otherwise I would have given up ages ago!
Anyways enough of my ranting..just want to say..my business needs uksignboards.com..and I appreciate all the help that comes from all members even when I ask really stupid questions!!

Adele, your right it is a great place and some very helpful members but unfortunately for me Robert didn’t get his finger out quick enough and it came along about a year to late for me 😳
I wish it had existed before I started as I would have saved myself not only a lot of money but a lot of time and some heartache as well, still thats all in the past and like you I hope to meet some more of the members in the future.
Lynn, sorry but I am afraid you are wrong, if you met some of my customers you would understand why :lol1: :lol1:

I wish there had been such a resource for me back in 1985.
I thought I knew it all when I got started, only to realize how truly stupid I was once I started reading the trade magazines and meeting other sign people.
I still learn something new every day!
Sometimes I forget it right away and re-learn it after screwing up yet again.
Glad we can all help each other.

I totally agree with the comments here.
I wish I had UKSB’s in ’92. I’ve made all the stupid mistakes there is I’m sure, even invented some myself.
Its a great community, one of the highlights of my career was flying over a few months back to the UK and meeting all these guys and girls, meeting Jill was a bonus too, but they are as nice a bunch in the flesh as they are on the boards Adele. Pencil in next years SignUK and meet them at the bar.

Sometimes I don’t know I am doing it wrong till I read it on here.
The people I have met from the boards have turned out to be really special People.
