a-board signage: frame-up
Posted by Carrie Brown on May 24, 2004 at 1:36 amConstructive crits welcome … I shall learn well from my elders 😆
A-board, oracal 751 series vinyl, company logo designed by us, we have also made the fascia signage for the shop front which matches the aboard – still got to go & take pic of it though. ………. Im proud of this one, because I, moi, me, did this from start to finish from logo design, through to cut, weed, tack & dry application!! Yay!!! Normally Steve does at least one part of each job, usually the applying or cutting/weeding of the graphics, so, this is a first complete job for me … I know its small but Im getting there and Im a very proud bunny! 😀 😛

very nice simple design – good to see uncluttered pavement signs as most customers seem to want everything they sell listed !!

Nik

try refreshing your page nik, i can see it now also..
carrie, really nice aboard design. works well.
im guessing the choice of one colour on black is what the customer asked for, none the less, looks good.where did you buy your A-Board from?
seeing that has gave me a very good idea on how to make one in our premises & quickly.. so extended thumbs up from me 😉

i refreshed my page umpteen times rob!! 😀
Nik it must have been a bit slow !! 🙄

Rob, yes customers choice for black and white. I get the aboards from roto-signs £42 for large powder coated with handle, been buying from them for about two years now & never had any probs with the boards 😀
The fascia sign for this looks better, the logo is slightly different, when I get a pic Ill post it.

Lovely job Carrie, But I would have aligned and balanced though, but I’m a sod for everything being aligned, I’m not right I know, it’s just me..BUT THATS WHAT THEY GET 👿
😉
Great work !

great board carrie !! very nice!! 😀 😀
only slight cons. crit. 😳 (my point of view)
from (suppliers of windsor & newton) move the whole thing up a bit!! so there is a space at the bottom!! rule of thumb is always make your signs less space at top and more at the bottom!! 😀 😀

Nice work Carrie! 😀
Diddy question, but did you cut it as a total or as individuals and lay it up?
😮 (?) Does that even make sense?!? I’m as red as a lobster after drinking a litre of tizer and I think I may have sun-grope (bit like sun stroke, not as serious as it actually feels kind of tingley 😉 )
What I mean is did you cut it all as one? Or did you group it all together then lay it up on the board?
I need a beer!
Cheers, Dewi

😆 Dewi, sun grope sounds kind of interesting …. I think???? Yes it was all cut/weeded and applied in one hit 😀
