    Hi guys & gals,

Just joined the boards tonight and thought I’d pop in and say hello. My name is Bill and I live in Helensburgh. I realise that you guys are all into signs in one form or another. My soon to be business will be sandblasting into stone, marble, slate, wood etc.

I have just purchased a sandblasting cabinet and compressor. What I need now is a cutting plotter. It was during a search for a plotter that I came across you guys.

I’ve learned quite a bit from you already re plotters, software etc and sure I will learn more.
I travelled down to Birmingham last week for the sign show and met some nice folk. I have some questions for you all but that’s for another day.

    Nice to meet you all

    Cheers

    😀 😀 😀 😀

Helensburgh is a lovely place…… haven’t been there for about 2 years ….. must take a drive down during the summer again.

We’ll soon have to get Alex Salmond on here to moderate you Scots 😀 😀

I did notice that the stones along the loch there are kind of glittery in comparison to other lochs.
Just think, a year ago I was in Scotland.
    My how time flies.
You do live in a lovely area.
Welcome from the hick-filled hills of Southwestern PA.
    Love….Jill

Hi William and welcome to the boards, having been based at Faslane for many years I know Helensburgh quite well although I haven’t been out that way for a long time. Mind you one thing I don’t miss is jumping off the pier every year, still can’t think why on earth I used to do that, the water was absolutely freezing!!!!!!
