Hello everyone

Do you think I would have any problems with this shape done with trim.

Cant seem to recall seeing anything irregular when Ive been out and about.

Cant imagine why it wouldn’t be OK but I thought it best to put it to the experts anyway.

regards

James

when you say "trim" mate, do you mean like Panatrim or Eurotrim?

IF this is the case there is one thing you must take into consideration. "side loading". by that i mean, if being loaded from the right hand side you are fine, loading from the left isnt going to work.
this is a common fault many folk make with constructing a panatrim sign.
i.e. the shop next door on left and right.
Does it have any projecting signs.
Alarm boxes
Even a deep light box.
anything that will impede you sliding a sheet of whatever into the frame.

anyway, other than loading, you should be fine James. just mak sure you get your sizes and mitre cuts correct.

this old tutorial may help.

Hi Rob

Thanks mate, It was more that one particular mitre I was worried about.

Bought some Eurotrim recently, hadn’t bought any for a while and was surprised at the drop in quality.

Must be down to metal prices I suppose.
