anyway, think the point behind it is probably… will the free advertising exposure of "the news / story worldwide, far outweigh what could be achieved with a 3 million pound advertising budget?

a 3 million advertising budget is also spent / gone, after the campaign has ended. whilst this car will probably go on show in a great many places, folk come from here and there to see it, get picture taken next to it and more…
