3M 1080 M229 Matte Copper Metallic – gloss alternative?
Hi all,
as per the title, my customer loves the 1080-M229 Matte Copper Metallic, but they want it in a gloss.Does anyone know of an extremely close match in any other wrap / vinyl swatch? I’m not actually wrapping with it, just a couple of 1.8m high letters on a newly painted transporter, so I could laminate it with a poly lam. I could laminate it with gloss 3m wrap laminate but at that price and the fact I’m not wrapping per-sé!!

Oracal do it in the 651 range code 092 copper, Ritrama do O-400 range code 474 copper and Avery 700 its 736-01 the avery one is not that nice but then I don’t have the 3m swatch to match what you are using.
I have used the Oracal on a fleet of coaches, some are done over 10 years and the vinyl still looks as good as the day it went on.
