3am start for William Smith
Posted by Peter Munday on June 6, 2012 at 10:06 amWell they are here and installing the new HP 26500. The poor chaps had to get up at 3am to get here for 9.00 but they are still very chirpy.
Can’t wait to get my hands on the new printer.Peter

Congrats.
Just saw my first one up close and printing last week, looks solid and not as much movement as the previous one.Chris.

Similar with us last week when they installed our Rolls Roller, Karen was on the road at just after 4am to get to us.
Can’t fault their enthusiasm!!

Good to hear Peter, keep us posted with feedback on your HP.
well done though, great move, i am sure you will love it…Good to hear more positive feedback on Wm. Smith too…
How are you finding working with the rollsroller so far chris, all good mate?
had ous a few years now, and as many will probably say. you wonder how you got by without one. :lol1: -
We’ve got our HP 26500 and a new laminator being installed at the end of the month too….Will post feedback here once we get our head around it all….
Installation has been delayed as we have to have a new power board fitted as we are at maximum capacity with 3 phase and various other power sources, the machine is also going to be located on our first floor so need to get some haulers in to do the move….
Really looking forward to it now, as we have a few wraps booked in and want to see how the HP compares to the XC540 we run….

ok but forget its just TWO blue-sockets 16AMP 240V.. not three phase you need, well it is for the L25500 and I think the L28500 is 3 phase.

Well, it’s in and behaving very well indeed. Many thanks to the boys from William Smith for their valiant efforts on the install and the training.
Have been playing on it for a while and the print quality is awesome! found a banner material from Grafityp that prints well on it but had to play around with the settings. A day and a half of training hurts the head as there is a lot to get to grips with but it’s all been good so far.
