The 2nd Media Expo held in Singapore 7th – 9th May was not as big as I expected. About 1/3 the size of Sign & Graphic expo in the UAE. Major names such as HP, Grand-innovations, Roland , Mutoh, Mimaki, EFI Vutek, DGI, Dilli… were present. Mutoh Valuejet 1608 Hybrid printer with new MuBIO ink, prints on media up to 1cm thick. Expo prize was GBP£19,500

Well FESPA was more of a manufacturers show, i been to signuk for about 4-5 years and that is more supplier based but it was interesting to see all the equipment that I needed to see. The only machine I haven’t yet to see is the new Gerber ION and there is an open day at some point

I have not seen the Gerber ION yet. I have only red about it in BIG picture magazine and video clips on YouTube. It looks as if Gerber has come up with the most innovative Flatbed printer. Same price range as HP colorspan H35000

Thing is, the price of $79,995K on that press release, well it wont be here as it will be 1 USD = 1 GBP and not 1 USD = 0.504540 GBP. Love to buy that £40K lol

Well UK might be more that £40k. Have seen the Agfa Anapurna M4f cost £45k. Printer made by Dilli which is a Korean Company. It is amazing to see those printers working.

You might consider also check on reviews on the ION. It is really useful
