2011 Pittsburgh World of Wheels Show
I attended the World of Wheels again and painted panels to be auctioned for charity.
We raised $7000 for the Pittsburgh Autism Society.
I think I painted 25 or 26 panels.
All cheesy as usual but fun.
My mind was kind of on auto pilot after getting to meet one of my favorite hockey players on Friday night.
Kris LeTang #58 from Montreal.
He signed a panel I painted.
Had a very hard time getting to sleep that night as my heart was still pounding.
He was very tall and gracious, and slim for a defense man.
Two former Steelers also signed my panels but I didn’t care so much about those.
hahaha
It was a blast, got to see a few old friends.
On the second day I brought my son Justis.
He had a blast too.

looks like you really had some fun.
Well done to you all for raising lots of $$$’s for charity.

Can you tell how nervous I was to meet Letang?
We were taken back into this little office.
He was right there sitting at a desk.
Everyone else had to wait in line up to 5 hours to meet him.
I felt like I was gonna faint or puke.

I also told him I had a good friend in Quebec City who is a signpainter.
He even acted as if he cared! -
