• 2 metre foamex

Posted by Matt Hards on March 28, 2007 at 11:54 am

hi, i usually buy my foamex in 8×4 sheets. but i have a job in at the mo, where we need a sign to be 2m high and 10m wide. this is very temporary, its a shop sign replica to go on the front of some scaffolding, whilst work is carried out on the above flat. the owner of shop has insisted it be the same sign on the front of the scaffolding so he doesn’t lose business and the builder has said the shop specified foamex for temporary. So i need some 2m high foamex ideally, and the longest length possible. Does anyone know if u can get foamex in this sort of size. many thanks, matt

Hi Matt, have you thought of covering boards in cream vinyl ?
    and adjust the quote accordingly.

foamex comes in ivory, you could try sign trade supplies in maidstone, that’s where buy my sheets from normally, quick delivery, not the cheapest, but not too bad !

btw, ivory is a creamy off white.

Amari Plastics also offer loads of colours

Largest sheet they do is 6050mm x 1500mm at 3,4, and 5 mm

    Cheers
