  • 2 colour vinyl striping on a Mini, how to? Help please?

I have to do a full striping on mini (front > back; front bumper till rear bumper)
Client want 2 matte black stripings each around 12cms width and then a 15mm green line on each side of the striping…

What is the best way for doing something like that, so that the fine green striping look straight and has the same space between the black stripe and green one?

Run lines of knifless tape or wrap cut tape the length of vehicle. From back to front. Look over it and double check its all straight.
apply your vinyl over the full area. Then trim through the media using the tape.
Much easier than using lines of vinyl unless they have been cut as a kit to fint body contour.

For striaght lines like this i much prefer wrap cut. But either will do. Do some test bits before working on the live job.

Video I found a while back on youtube. Neat idea using the laser line for straightness…

Pretty much as Rob said though.
