    Hi

I’ve been asked to do some 1220 x 610mm site boards for a customer. In the past he has had 5mm Forex with vinyl graphics and says these are OK but he has to use a wooden backing boards with them as they are not rigid enough on their own. Would 10mm Forex be strong enough in this size to be screwed directly to a post and be used on its own? It’s not something I’ve used before and I might go the Dibond route if not. They are for advertising outside sites, not site safety signs, and he wants something that can handle a year of being moved from site to site (within reason). They will be used portrait. Any advice much appreciated.

    Thanks

    John

We did something similar to slip over bollards outside a computer shop. The guy didnt want to pay alot because he knew he would be told to take them down everytime he put them out.

He has had them 8 months now and they have been on and off more than a hookers knickers but they still look ok. Some of the colouring on the green is starting to fade but they are still rigid and holding up well.

the way they are probably going to be treated I would go with dibond, if it was one guy moving them and looking after them fine but they will be thrown about and in and out of vans so more likely to get damaged.

Gavin I wondered that but am slightly worried about scratches showing up more on Dibond? I will give this as an option I think.
