Creators of Flexisign introduce SAI Colour Solutions

Philadelphia, PA – March 26, 2008 – SA International (SAi), the leading provider of Software Solutions for the Professional Sign Making, Digital Printing, Proofing, and CAD/CAM for CNC Machining Industries, introduces SAi Colour Solutions, the umbrella for a new suite of colour management products tailored to the print market, scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2008.

This new Suite includes a spectrophotometer, profiling and colour verification software. These modular components can be individually integrated into other packages or combined together to make a complete solution.

The SPRINT™ handheld spectrophotometer features new patented “Wide-Aperture” technology that scans over 600 patches per minute. The SPRINT can scan six adjacent colours in the same time it takes competing devices to scan only one. The “wide mouth” also allows for high motion tolerance, eliminating the need for rulers or guides.

The SNAP™ profiling software features a wizard-like interface that guides users step-by-step through the process to reduce the possibility of errors. Each screen includes on-screen instruction and a help button to open aid for the current step. The profiling technology driving SNAP is based on the well-established PhotoPRINT Colour Profiler. Profiles created with SNAP follow the ICC standard and can be used with most major software applications.

ColorExcel™ colour verification software uses a simplified interface to quickly compare colours and determine the deltaE between them. ColorExcel facilitates rapid colour comparison of samples printed on different devices or different materials.

“We are eager to launch our new Colour Solutions products this year,” states Don Feagan, President and COO, SAi. “It won’t be long before the colour management industry is buzzing with excitement about each of our innovative new products.”
