Same as lenticular so will rely on a prismatic sheet on the front and multiple part images printed as bands in perfect alignment.

I’d imagine near impossible as image/prism relationship has to be in a constant plane with no warps, twists or other non-wanted distortions such as panel curvature, allowing partial reveal of the other images making a nonsense of the effect. (Like twisting or flexing of the lenticular rulers and ‘prizes’ once found in every gift shop or cereal box.)

    Would be pretty cool though!

Load of manufacturers listed on Google.

I think your client has got an idea in his head that just isn’t practical.

To create the sort of visual impact he’s looking for, why not suggest a specialist film that changes colour (e.g. https://shop.grafityp.co.uk/catalog/partlist.aspx?CategoryID=349)

Or you can get specialist diffraction films with holograms

I like a challenge… I think this would be really interesting to do if he could fund it….
