  stone chip protect stuff

  who uses what make please

  is the film finished just inside the panel area or goes over the edge.
  making some of the templates would be ok so that a nice finish in the middle of a panel

  just trying to compare with bought in ready cut film

  I use ventureshield, now taken over by 3m I believe, I get mine from Showtrax as I cannot but direct anymore as I am not on their distributor list!

  Hexis do a thicker version which I hear is good, not tried as yet

  Chris,

  The protection film doesn’t usually go over the edge of a panel but stops a couple of mm short. Mainly because the chance of a stone hitting that small of an area is very small.

  We tend to use Suntek branded or Solutia (CP Films) due to discounts for the amount of window film our companies buy.

  Edit: We’ve bought in pre cut and made our own depending on vehicle etc.

  Do I need 150 or the 300 or a combination
  150 ft bumper lower bonnet
  300 behind the wheels
