How to cut a Dibond oval?
I need to make an oval panel in Composite 1100 x 490.
Would this be possible with a jig saw if I stuck on a vinyl pattern template?
Any ideas or will I have to get it made externally? -

I do it exactly as you suggest, then use a sureform to finish of.

same for me too,
vinyl template, cut around with a metal cutting jigsaw blade as carefully as poss.
edges sometimes not perfect but the edge of a stanley blade removes swarf and a bit of emery paper to finish will normally suffice.
i made my own stand off composite letters like this – wish I hadn’t but it was an experience!

just remember to leave the protective film on, it makes taking the template off a whole lot easier!

Good tip that. I will use some gash semi-perm stuff as well.

we always have a roll of avery500 in for this, use it for radius corners and any kind of shapes

Think Gavin means surform, get in hardware stores B & Q etc yellow handle with rough bit on the bottom 😀
