Saw it a while ago, as Dan said Zeitgiest Addendum is out now but when you look at it, the whole story makes sense. Just think if the Telegraph hadn’t released the expenses of our so called MP’s, how long do you think they would carry on doing what they were doing.
Good job Tony Blair managed to shred his receipts in time.

My opinion is that all these anti terror laws, ID cards, recruiting school children to snoop on neigbour’s etc are not there to stop terrorism, they are put in place to protect those in power from the population when we all get the picture and find out what’s really been happening and how all of us has been manipulated. The real question is when are we going to get angry enough to really do something about the real people in power and not the puppets that are the main three parties that only take the orders.

Just look at Obama now already going back on his word regarding those torture pics/ guantanamo bay closure.. the list go’s on, remember his campaign slogan….CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN…….|Yeah right

I have always believed in these conspiracy things and when it is listed in such a detailed way its scary, I’ll be passing it onto a good friend who will say "I told you so" as he is always coming up with similar links.

Were do you find these things Rob???

Very interesting stuff Rob, compelling viewing – however without knowing who made the film their personal interests etc its easy to edit anything to explain anything.

Having said all that its what I believe to be true and always have – much of this covered already by George Orwell in 1984 – an absolute work of genius, virtually everything in life is in this book with regard to government manipulation and control.

Off for a wee dram of Victory gin and 10 grams of Chocolate!

To be honest I did not click the link because someone said it put them to sleep.
    And I can’t pronounce it.
But last night when I couldn’t sleep I listened to the radio and they were discussing a book entitled Hit the Ground Running.
    http://www.amazon.com/Hit-Ground-Runnin … 1591842476
It talks about planning strategies of successful CEOs and seemed to have methods which could be applied to running one’s own small business.
It sort of relates to what happened to our economy by saying that many large companies became greedy, the big bosses were not accountable for their own actions, the employees didn’t matter, and what were once hugely successful businesses became run into the ground by single selfish persons.
I am thinking about buying it, it seems worth a read.

The only thing George Orwell got wrong was the year!! It seems they are using his book as an instruction manual 😮 😮 😮

    Alex,

    – 1984 is their manual George Orwell is genius, he could see it all so clear. The conspiracy theorists may even start (i have been waiting) that he died the year it was published? (you heard it here first!)

By the way – he didnt get the year wrong 84 is 48 reverse which is when the book was written his publisher thought it too controversial at the time to use 48.

George Orwell saw this all at the time and it is the way governments have always been but the truly scary thing is the internets growth and with webcams and google and other companies that can monitor email content and everything you do on the internet – the telescreens of 1984 are well and truly here.

Nigel, isn’t 1984 a warning to governments?. That’s the way I read it, anyway. The futility of mind control as the individual will always win out. Maybe Ceausescu, The East Germans, The USSR etc etc all read it like you; as a how-to manual, and looked what happened to them! 😀
If you want to be an all pervasive, totalitarian government, throw 1984 into the compactor!! 😀 😀

    😮

    Harry,

1984 to me was read purely as Orwells obversations of a totalitarian regime but the ‘prophecy’ or ‘observations’ are true and have been true and will continue to be true of any government. Whether Orwell had such faith in a government to heed his warning is doubtful. I feel he just despised them.

Thats how I see it anyway! – Great book anyway!
