Do parking sensors need to have the vinyl trimmed away for them to work, or do they still work if you simply wrap over the top of them?

Just have to try a piece over the top and see if they still work, most do.

Finished wrapping today and discovered the parking sensors were having a hissy fit so had to trim the vinyl of the face of the sensors to restore normal functioning

    Are they aftermarket or oem?

If they’re oem are they painted?

    Ah that’s annoying!

How about disconnecting and wrapping over them [emoji23]

Im a bit late now but…We normally wrap over them, trim to the edge of the bumper "hole" carefully, then for the middle I measure the centre circle diameter, and put a piece of wrap through the cutter (Dont forget to set the pressure) and they look spot on. Never had an issue yet.
