My new company vehicle needs ‘doing up’, a PT cruiser which I’m considering wrapping in matt black then adding the logo etc on top (had to sell my old Chevy truck..sob!)

Any pitfalls or areas I should look at?

    cheers

Hi Malk, main thing is that you use a CAST matt black vinyl to wrap with, we have wrapped with non cast matt black before and it looks excellent.

If you have the experience you can get away with an Avery 600 but if not or if you are doing the bumpers then I would suggest using the 800/900 series … if you have the budget too.

Also make sure you use a soft edge squeege and plenty of heat to ensure you don’t scratch the vinyl as you apply it as Matt tends to show up more marks than the gloss.

Let me know if you need more info.
