  • Wrapping a building.

Has anyone ever had to wrap a building?
The reason I ask this is because we are taking over another shop over the road from this one and I want to do something well over the top with it as at the moment it looks rather run down.

with your skills should not be a problem. but it is normally tied across scaffolding.

mesh on a liner and print lower res quite quickly.
biggest i have done is only 10 x 12 ft.

could cut out the windows and doors and make it look like a new building.

    sounds like fun

im guessing here but did you not say one side of your other shop took a bit of vandalism because a banner or sign was low down due to it being in reach of the kids? this being the case and Stanley blade would end the life of your building wrap! 😕

Yes Rob. it is risky but because of the poor state of the outside it would be cheaper than a large pointing up task. Not really sure how i’m going to do it yet but wahay!!! What the hell. I have put a new banner up on the front and as of yet no trouble, but who knows what tomorrow brings.
I’ll post a sample artwork tomorrow.

I can just picture it now. Karls head printed 30′ high :lol1: :lol1:

Seriously though Karl, I would check with your local planning department before you do to much work, even doing all the work yourself I would have thought this would be fairly expensive. great project to have though, good luck with it.

    Hi Karl

This is my first post on the forums, so Hi to all. A good system that I’ve used in the past to fix banner to wall is SpiritFlex you can find the supplier here http://www.spirit-displays.co.uk/uk_spiritflex.html.

It’s not the cheapest but ig gives a great flat finish for banner to a flat surface.

    Hope this helps
