    Hi All

What is the type of vinyl used for the black surrounds on cars by the windows.
It’s like a mat black textured vinyl

Pointers in the right direction much appreciated

    Thanks Dave

    I don’t think it’s vinyl, I’ve always thought it’s a
type of paint that is probably spayed on during
    manufacture.

We have been known to apply vinyl to the above surrounds and use textured laminate to ‘create’ the effect, but as Neil says, I think its the paint from the manufacture

KPMF black stonechip vinyl. I used to supply it to Range Rover or someone like that. Bugger to cut on a normal plotter. Budget for a new blade in the job.

    Hi Dave

If you look for door pillar trims on www there’s a few options.
