Just remember to let them know that it works with different light levels!
It’s fantastic in daylight for office windows – but on those winter days it’s darker outside than inside…so everybody can see in…nobody can see out!
Lots of suppliers round the UK
Try APA – http://www.apaspa.com in Kent.

Good quality stuff. It’s still a right bugger to fit perfectly if the windows aren’t PERFECTLY clean as dirt migrates out of the seals & up the film. Not one for the feint hearted.

Derek, as Dave has said works on different light levels on either side of the film works OK in a lot of offices as there is quite often a lot of light from interior lighting but always best to explain to customers how the film works and then maybe try a bit on the window, I did have one complaint from a customer once. I had applied it to an office he had which looked out over the main shop, I explained to him how it worked and he was happy about it, then a few days latter he phoned to complain that it was useless. It turned out he was putting the lights out in the office so people would thing there was no-one in there and of course as soon as he did that there was more light on the other side of the film so he couldn’t see anything. Once I had re-educated him about how the film worked he was fine.

I have had a few customers requesting this stuff, but always baulk on the price, so end up fitting normal vinyl. One particular customer wanted 3 sauna windows blanked out with white, so it would let light in, but still no-one could see in. I warned her that at night, you’d be able to see shadows & outlines of naked people, but no detail. She was fine with this at the time, but seemed to forget my warning when it came to paying, saying she thought it was total block. I replied that if it was total block, it wouldn’t let the light it as requested.
🙄 Customers eh?
Sub the job out, far easier in the long run!

We install A LOT of this film around the country, and if the film is on outside facing windows, it will work well. They will also benefit from reduced heat and glare.
Yes, when it starts to get darker outside it will start to reverse, but they should then pull the blinds (hopefully have them).
At least they will have one-way privacy for most of the day, then pull the blinds at night. Better than having blinds shut all day, or no privacy at all.
We do a film that is silver on the adhesive side and tinted on the inside face. Bit more expensive, but gives less internal reflection.
Send them an A4 sample and see what they think.
Best/ easiest films to fit have pressure sensitive adhesive. Still use soapy water though, and make sure glass is clean. You should be able to fit yourself. Buy a bit and try on a window in your place. Useful as an add on for future if you can do it.
