Hi all I – here’s a recent project a little unusual in that the client required three blacked out windows two of which had to have mirror display boxes in the centre.

I informed the client about possible problems with the black vinyl but they were happy to risk it, fortunately the windows are subject to little or no direct sunlight. This link posted recently was great for helping determine the risk http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/member_service … l#Breakage

Sorrry I’m no photographer but you get the idea

    John

Nice work, Just a quick question. I always see window graphics done with vinyl, but have never tried it myself. Could anyone just give me an idea of how it is done? I have no idea, just a brief idea will do lol

    Thanks in advance 😀

Thanks for the kind comments guys

Ben pretty simple really, in this case I put the graphics on first cut in reverse to the inside of the glass and then covered with the black did this in a couple of pieces horizontally, as I was on my own I found it easier that way, applied wet just water and trimmed tight to the frame.

Cut the aperture afterwards using a vinyl template

    Here’s another pic
