    Hi guys,

I had 2 questions, about fitting large window graphics. Might sound stupid but it’s really bugging me. The other day I was fitting 2 1.30x2m window graphics, one of them fit perfectly but the other one I just couldn’t put on without one of the sides getting creased if you tried laying it down completely. I did manage to put it on at the end without any damage, but it took so long to fix it. I don’t know what causes it to become like that.

Also what does everyone do when the Pvc on the window isn’t straight, I mean the width at the top is for example 100cm but at the bottom is 98cm.

Hope everyone understands what I mean[emoji24]

I tend to always come in 5mm from the edge of the window rubbers, it’s very difficult to properly clean next to the rubbers and as you’ve found, if it’s too big you just can’t get the edge down firm and end up trimming it back anyway.

I always like to make the graphic slightly smaller so no trimming is required ideally. If the windows aren’t square I would always oversize my graphic slightly and trim to the edge of the windows using my squeegee. This will then make your graphic an equal gap all the way around allowing you to get rid of any excess water.

If you are applying a graphic with application tape, be aware that you may need to allow the adhesive to grab for a period of time before removing the app tape. I usually use a 25% isopropyl to 75% water mix. This will help the adhesive dry faster so the application tape can be removed sooner.

    Good luck
