These online petition votes are just a smokescreen to make us think we are valued in our undemocratic democracy. Take the first vote on a reforendum on eu membership. A 3 line whip was imposed on mp’s so they would vote how the party leadership wanted, even if the vote had been won by rebel mp’s it was not law making and would have had no effect unless the government wanted it to. As for the price of fuel well i can only see that going up trouble and unrest in the middle east and rhetoric over iran will guarantee this, and our government are not going to give up the goose that lays golden eggs at a time of huge debts.

Already seen £1.43 here in Dundee at a local shell garage for diesel…bad enough!
