will ant graffiti laminate print correctly on JV3 prints?
Hi Everyone-
I’m about to do a huge job that requires using a anti graffiti laminate. The customer asked that we don’t use 3M anti graffiti laminate because a prior job with another sign co. cause bubbles with 3M laminate.
I am going to do some tests with a product called Neschen filmolux uve. Has anybody used this before?
My co-workers are concerned that the solvent ink prints that are laminated too soon are still "gassing" and this could cause bubbles in the print because the anti-graffiti laminate is not as porous as regular laminates.
I will be printing onto 3M ControlTac with Comply.
I don’t do enough laminating to have justified buying a laminator but we are considering it for this job. Up to now, I’ve been laminating prints with the wet technique using Rapidtac and a rubber squeegee.
If anyone has some expert advice on these subjects that would be great.
Specifically on solvent inks gassing/dry times and experience with anti graffiti laminates. Thanks, David
