    Hi All

I have a wireless printer, everytime I fire up the laptop in the office I have to manually connect (vista) by going to control panel/network and sharing (in classic view)/manage network connections/right click and connect wireless network connection/connect on printer shown.

How do I get the laptop to see and connect automatically 😳

    thanks in advance – John

not a bad idea but by the time ive driven home (half mile) the laptop will be out of range of the printer and the connection will be lost 🙁

Once you have got your connection up and running, just go to Control Panel>Manage Wireless Networks. Then right click on your printer network for properties.
This should bring up a connection tab – there is a box there for auto connect.

Im on Vista, and the above works for mine!!

    Hi Geraint

Thanks tried that – found the connection tab – no auto connect or any options for that matter 😕
