Hi all, I was just wondering if any of you can help me with this question,
Is there a set format or layout for wide load or escort vehicles?
I have looked and all are different so thought I would ask expert help
I will be very grateful if someone knows the answer
    Thanks

We’ve always done them as per Chapter 8 regs but with ‘Escort Vehicle’ on front and rear.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the file pretty much what I was going to do, but always good to ask first ( so I have found over the years )

Although there are regulations covering this it would seem that very few of them are actually adhered to Lee, These guys work closely with local Police forces but nothing is ever said so not sure if anyone really knows the correct spec.
If the customer asks for anything different just make them aware they may not be conforming with regulations.
There’s one company up here who seem to be pretty busy & the chevrons on the back of vans are not only engineering grade but are red & blue stripes & there are a few companies I’ve seen using red & white stripes.
