    Hi All,

Trying to cut out some car decals which I’ve printed and Laminated with Registration marks and it picks up a few but skips the odd one?

Any answers or ideas ? Is it the laminate? do I need to clean the lens on the cutter ?

    Hhhhhheeelllppppppp

    Cheers

    not my system.
with the roland if printed on to a darker colour say silver or a satin laminate i have had to put a extra room light on so that there is more contrast for the sensor to work with else it wont find one.

Hi my name is Tim from Cape Town. I have a screenprinting business.
We have a Mimaki JV3 160 SP. I bought my machine new 2 years ago and very soon after a fx130 cutter. We had huge nozzle blocking problems with 3rd party inks. In December we converted to genuine mimaki inks (at huge cost) but I feel it was worth it. Saving on purging, wasted time and rejected material. In response to you particular problem I would mark your lamination with a thin koki or ballpoint (Biro) to mark the reg. marks. It should work
