why is my plotter cutting at a reduced size please?
Help Please 😥
I am trying for the first time to contour cut and have picked up a problem.
The print size is spot on and even the contour cut lines in my cutting software are spot on, but when it cuts it is cutting short along the width, it should be 580mm wide but is short by 4mm.
Any ideas?

OK it’s NOT the cutter 😕 It seems to be a problem with the opus eye. I ran a test on normal vinyl and then on the printable vinyl without using the opus eye settings and it all cuts perfect.
I set all the opus eye settings as per the manual and even did all the calibrations before hand. The weird thing is it cuts 4mm short when using the eye?
anybody have any ideas?

i got in to the same mess with my graphtec, in the end i reset the whole thing back to factory default and all was well.warning resetting to default = Japanese language.
there must be a trick to stop that bit

Thanks Chris but I finally got it sorted and is working 100% now. I’m glad I did not have to go back to factory settings.

I think it was just some settings, I rotated the image and did it sideways it it worked 😕
