Hi Shane,

The text is no problem I use the software robo master pro that came with the graphtec and that works fine. I have even phoned graphtec’s helpline and the guy said yes peace of cake just click on the application launcher and then on cut plot and basically job done, but I cant see for looking now as I cant find cut plot on there. I am pulling my hair out. Any help would be great.
thanks james -
Tha application launcher icon is a "rocket" and should be in the toolbar.
Just in case you have misplaced it.Peter

Hi Peter, I notice on the forums that you have helped loads of people hope you can help me . The little rocket is there but when i click on it it only comes up with a list of what came with the corel software but no cut and plot in there

James,
Have you installed the latest graphtec cutting master software plug-in for corel X3. if so try and remove it and re-install it. It should put the launcher menu into corel along with the cut plot and registration buttons as others have mentioned. Also you might need to change the language settings on the plotter as X3 and the new cutting master plugin uses HPGL.
The cutting master plugin version im using for X3 is 2 1.00Alex.

Thanks Alex,
I’m a little computer stupid when out of my comfort zone, do i down load the plug in or should it be on the disc graphtec disc that came with the machine
Thanks James -
James,
You should load it in as it’s software. The latest corel plugin version for your cutter is cutting master 2 1.3 and is available from graphtec usa site. I think you need to install the ops662 program aswell. Once it is installed you should have the launcher menu in corel and also the reg mark and cutplot buttons in there. Once you are ready to cut your design in corel, you select cutplot from the menu and in automatically imports the design into the cutting master software for you and then you are ready to send that to the cutter. Once you reach that bit and it still wont cut from the cutting master software, then that is when you need to check the language settings on your plotter and maybe change them if necessary.

dont want to confuse you but there is also a windows driver supplied by graphtec which in my opinion is better control, no exporting just cut straight of the page, what ever you select. no mucking about with colour layers etc. it cuts exactly what you tell it to where you tell it to.
only limitation is a 2750mm cut length.

Chris,
You are right, i’ve just check my machine and mine is also set to GP-GL.
I can remember changing this from HP-GL when i received the new version of cutting master 2 software (2 1.00) from Graphtec so i could use it with the new Corel X3 version.Alex.
