is it that bad??
Its one of my customers done his vans – he asked me do I do window tint as he has one at his home and also wants his Audi estate doing!!
My first answer was no I don’t – which he replied don’t i fancy having a go!!
I said id find him someone to do it!! I then started to think 😕
So simple answer is leave well alone?????

Id give it a go, whats the worst that can happen, you’ll crease it and send him to someone who can do it, at least you’ll have tried, you never know you may get it on just nicely and add another string to your bow.
I will try anything, you just need to try your best.
The guys who can do it must have started somewhere. -
Ade, there are some good video’s on you tube showing people tinting windows, it will give you an idea if you think you can do it.

Try Johnsons window films used them before, good price and quality.
I’ve only done my own vehicle and its not easy, hardest part is getting the window spotless 1 tiny speck on dust will stand out and if its a curved window even harder.Lee

Ade, its dead easy to tint (when you know how)I did my truck, flat glass almost, and still had 2 attempts to get it right,
You will need to learn the wet application method though….
and how to form the tint on the outside before fitting on the inside, and all that sort of stuff,
its a job that needs practice to master, and unless you are taught how, you may make a complete balls off it and waste several hours trying.if you want to do it as a service, why not go on one of the courses that people like johnsons offer?
if not, seriously, I would sub it out.

if the window is flat, not too much of a problem, if its curved in both vertically and horizontally don’t bother..
-
Well crunch time!!
I’ve decided not to bother – going to sub out
Not worth the expense and time – maybe have a go on my own van or car in time!!!
cheers all
