  • Who stole my post?

Posted by Ray on 9 May 2004 at 13:06

I put a post in here yesterday in answer to a call for help from Stan. Now I don’t know if he received my help or not because the whole thread disappeared. . . .

Do posts often disappear arbitrarily like this without any whys or wherefores. . . ?

Sometimes posts are moved to the correct forum, what was the post about? Ie if you posted a request for a quote, it would be moved to the quoting forum. Unfortunately without certain access, you wouldn’t be able to see it.

    Cheers, Dewi

Yeah, then it gets really wierd when I receive email notification that my post has been answered and I click on the link and it says you can’t come in here . . . . .

. . .so rejected and forlorn he wanders away into the rain and gathering darkness where there is so little light that the tears in his eyes go unnoticed. The thunder crashes and the lightning lights the sky for a single moment as the hoot of an oncoming goods train rumbles into the space where he stumbles on the steel rail . . . . to be continued.

    hi ray
im afraid dewis right mate.. the post was moved to the correct forum.
it still exists thats why you got the reply notification. but because its now in an access members forum you cant see it.
there are many forums that are only available to access members. basicaly if your a member more posts/topics appear than for those that are only registered members.

    sorry for the inconvenience.
