In Composer, go to the help menu and search for overprint, overlap, choke & spread.

There are visual examples of what these functions do and how to use them, which is easier than explaining here.

Nearly forgot, this is under the assumption that you are using Omega to run the edge.

Your trapping is out, probably because the foils are slightly different lengths, pressures are different etc so these will never line up, you will have to compensate for the gap using your software and overprinting.
