  • which way is the best to roll up banners after doing them?

    Ok this might be a daft question but here goes,

    once the vinyl has been applied to the banner which way is the best to roll it up, vinyl inside, outside or doesn’t it make any difference
    advice greatly appreciated

    hi chris!!

    the best way would be rolled vinyl on the outside!! i used to do the opposite!! 😮 until i read a thread on here somewhere, advising the other way!! 😛 it stops the vinyl crinkling!! 😀

    Outside for sure, I do a lot of mail order so have learnt the hard way!! 😥 😥

    onother things never fold banners. Better use cardborad roll of vinyl roll
    and roll banner on that.

    yeh, i agree.. roll with text on the outside is best.
    like slobo said.. a card tube is handy if you are posting it or if the banner is wide. stops the banner folding and causing bad kinks.
    also.. if your not using any sort of core to keep it stiff.. do not use an elastic band to hold it. or should i say, dont use a tight/strong band,, because again, it can cause creases,kinks in the banner when the customer unrolls it. couple of bits of masking tape holds fine. 😉
