  • which vinyl can i use to apply to a scuba tank?

    hi
    i’ve been asked by a local dive shop about making some lettering for there scuba tanks.
    its got to survive both salt water and fresh water.
    any idea what vinyl i should use?

    3M 7725 Cast (with the clear plastic backing) will do the trick. It is a marine grade vinyl, and will cope with being immersed in salt or fresh water for short periods.
